The Artist
Hi, I'm the artist behind notFishe.
I am a Vancouver based artist actively applying to local events and art markets. I utilize my 2D illustrations, 3D modeling and surfacing skills to craft character goods for the classic anime and video games we grew up with. The core goal behind my retro inspired merchandise is to instantly evoke the nostalgia of falling in love with your favorite media for the very first time.
This vision comes to life through items like my signature Popsicle Series, which transforms concept sketches of popsicles in the 2000s into tangible acrylic keychains featuring real wooden sticks.
Everything at notFishe is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each design feels like a true physical keepsake that connects you to your happiest childhood memories.
The Brand
notFishe — Nostalgia Corner
Welcome to Nostalgia Corner, the cozy universe where notFishe creations reside. Rather than simply reproducing digital fanart, this space is dedicated to exploring how beloved characters might feel if they stepped out of the screen. By experimenting with unique finishes ranging from soft simulated clay to realistic food textures, digital art is given a grounded, physical presence you can actually hold.
Every piece within this collection exists to capture that initial spark of magic when a classic game or show first won your heart. Nostalgia Corner bridges the gap between those cherished on-screen moments and your daily life, transforming them into comforting, tactile objects that bring warmth to your desk, your bag, or anywhere in the real world.
The Keeper of the Corner
A round little seal whose first fish was taiyaki.
The Keeper is notFishe's mascot — a white seal with round glasses and a taiyaki on its head. The first fish that the Keeper fell in love with was taiyaki. The "first favorite": the first time you've fell in love with anime, video games or movies, that you never quite forget. That's what the brand is about. Reliving the happy memories.
